As a Technical Solutions Architect, you will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, design and implement technical solutions, and ensure the successful integration of new technologies into their strategic plans. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong and diverse technical background who can navigate complex problems and deliver tailored solutions that drive business value. You'll be familiar with delivering architectural designs that follow TOGAF frameworks, and operate across public cloud and on-premise domains.
Role Description
Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, challenges, and business requirements, translating them into actionable technical strategies and solutions.
Solution Design: Develop detailed and scalable solution architectures across various technology domains, including cloud computing, enterprise systems, and software development.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the technical lead in client-facing meetings, ensuring all stakeholders have a clear understanding of the proposed solutions and their benefits.
Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor clients' development teams, ensuring they have the necessary tools, frameworks, and guidance to implement the solutions.
Requirements Analysis: Lead workshops and discussions to capture business and technical requirements, translating them into design specifications.
Technology Selection: Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and frameworks to meet the client’s needs and long-term goals.
Implementation Oversight: Provide high-level support during the implementation phase, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Identify technical issues, offer solutions, and guide the client and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.
Documentation: Create and maintain architecture diagrams, design documentation, and technical specifications to ensure all solutions are well-documented and transferable.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying new knowledge to improve current processes and solutions.
Guide and mentor other delivery team members and client staff such as software and data engineers.
What you'll do
Written and spoken English language skills to at least B2 grade of the Cambridge standard.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) as a Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architect or similar technical leadership role within consulting or enterprise environments.
Expertise in designing and deploying scalable solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and other infrastructure technologies.
Strong understanding of system integration, software development life cycles, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#) and understanding of modern web technologies (REST APIs, microservices).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently in a client-facing environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Experience designing and governing architectures and solutions to TOGAF standards.
