Role Description
Salesforce Development and Customization
Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce applications and solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
Implement complex business logic using Salesforce’s programmatic capabilities, ensuring the solutions are efficient, maintainable, and scalable.
Utilize Lightning Web Components (LWC) to create modern, responsive user interfaces that improve user experience.
Integration and Data Management
Develop and implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and middleware.
Design and execute data models and structures, including creating custom objects, fields, and relationships to support business processes.
Perform data migration and transformation tasks using Salesforce tools such as Data Loader, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Salesforce Best Practices and Standards
Follow Salesforce development best practices, including version control, code review, unit testing, and continuous integration.
Adhere to Salesforce security and sharing model best practices, ensuring data security and compliance with organizational policies.
Optimize performance of custom Salesforce applications, including efficient use of Apex, SOQL, and Governor Limits.
Troubleshooting and Support
Identify and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce applications, integrations, and configurations.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Salesforce solutions, implementing enhancements and bug fixes as required.
Collaborate with Salesforce administrators to troubleshoot and resolve system and user-related issues.
Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Participate in technical design sessions, providing input on best practices and solutions for Salesforce-related challenges.
Document technical specifications, system designs, and codebase to facilitate knowledge sharing and future development.
Continuous Learning and Certification
Stay current with the latest Salesforce platform features, capabilities, and best practices by engaging with the Salesforce Trailblazer Community and participating in relevant training.
Maintain and pursue Salesforce Platform Developer certifications to demonstrate expertise and commitment to Salesforce standards.
What you'll do
Proficiency in English (Spoken, Written, Comprehension) to at least C1 Cambridge English proficiency level.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required; Platform Developer II certification is highly preferred.
3+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, security and sharing rules, and best practices.
Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and middleware tools.
Proficiency in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and development lifecycle tools (e.g., Salesforce DX, Visual Studio Code).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Knowledge of additional Salesforce products, such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
Experience with CI/CD tools for Salesforce, such as Jenkins, Copado, or Gearset.
Familiarity with Salesforce AppExchange products and third-party integrations.
