As a Learning Instructional Designer, you will play a pivotal role in developing, designing, and implementing engaging and effective educational content and programs. Your primary focus will be on creating instructional materials that facilitate learners' acquisition of knowledge, skills, and competencies in a variety of settings. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts, educators, and other stakeholders to ensure that the learning experiences are tailored to meet the diverse needs of learners, taking into account their backgrounds, learning styles, and goals.

This role requires a blend of creativity, technical proficiency, and a deep understanding of educational best practices and technologies. You will be expected to stay current with the latest advancements in instructional design theories, tools, and technologies, and apply these insights to create innovative learning solutions. Additionally, you will conduct needs assessments and analyze learner feedback to continuously improve the effectiveness of the instructional materials. Your work will not only involve the creation of content but also the evaluation and revision of existing programs to ensure they remain relevant and impactful. By leveraging your expertise, you will help shape the educational experiences of learners, empowering them to achieve their full potential.

Role Description

Design and Develop Learning Materials:

Create engaging and interactive learning experiences, including online courses, workshops, webinars, and training materials.
Develop multimedia content, such as videos, animations, infographics, and interactive simulations.

Collaborate with Stakeholders:

Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content and ensure accuracy and relevance.
Collaborate with educators, trainers, and other team members to identify learning objectives and outcomes.
Conduct needs assessments and learner analysis to inform the design process.

Evaluate and Improve Learning Solutions:

Implement assessment tools to measure learning outcomes and effectiveness of instructional materials.
Collect and analyze feedback from learners and stakeholders to continuously improve the learning experience.
Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in instructional design and integrate them into the learning solutions.

Project Management:

Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Create project plans, timelines, and documentation to support the development process.
Coordinate with external vendors or consultants when necessary.

What you'll do

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or a related role.
Proven track record of designing and delivering effective learning solutions in various formats (e.g., e-learning, blended learning, instructor-led training).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline).
Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and other educational technologies.
Basic understanding of graphic design and multimedia production tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).

Analytical and Creative Skills:

Strong analytical skills to assess learning needs and evaluate learning outcomes.
Creative problem-solving skills to design innovative and engaging learning experiences.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.

Interpersonal Skills:

Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of stakeholders.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
