Who you'll work with
As a Technical Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Utilize your technical knowledge and understanding of software development practices (Agile, Scrum SAFe) to drive project requirements, work closely with technical teams, and make informed decisions to meet project outcomes. Be able to identify blockers by understanding the dependencies and requirements of delivering technical projects.
Define technical project scope collaboratively with stakeholders, clients, and internal team. Gain consensus and communicate clear objectives deliverables, and delivery plan. Manage and understand technical requirements, architecture, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Manage and resolve week to week issues, as well as managing broader long term strategic roadmap.
Foster a collaborative and productive team environment. Be a leader a diverse and international group of technologists to achieve outcomes for our clients. Manage technical team(s), assign tasks, and ensure clear communication among technical team members to achieve project goals.
Be an expert risk mitigator. Mange the projects scope, resourcing, quality, budget, and timeline and risks along the way to keep projects on track. Utilize skilled communication techniques to have productive and collaborative conversations internally and externally to drive project and client outcomes.
Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects stay within technical and financial constraints. Communicate effectively with stakeholders (internal and client facing) on risks to meet delivery.
Establish and enforce quality standards, conducting regular technical project reviews to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical outcomes. Utilize frameworks, standards, or structured methods to validate the functional requirements and business outcomes are met. Partner with your technical counterparts to ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met.
Coordinate testing and acceptance with stakeholders as needed.
Drive analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation pertaining to the project to support pre and post development efforts. Ability to dive into systems, engage with a diverse stakeholder group, to distill and document requirements to develop against. Maintain an effective record of expectations to hold parties accountable.
Drive day to day tasks forward, as well as drive the product roadmap and its vision. Use your keen business knowledge and experience to be a partner in the design and execution of project and products.
Engage with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates and addressing concerns to maintain positive relationships. Ability to influence stakeholders to do what is right to meet their objectives and maintain a healthy team environment. Build genuine relations with executive stakeholders and technical teams. Maintain open and effective communication with clients, ensuring their technical expectations are met, and technical feedback is addressed promptly.
What you'll do
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a track record of successfully managing and delivering complex technical projects.
Strong technical leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse technical teams and technical stakeholders.
Excellent technical communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Experience and/or certifications on modern Software Development methodologies (Agile, SAFe)
Proficient in technical project management tools and software (Jira, Asana, etc.)
Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to technical detail and a focus on delivering high-quality technical results.
Ability to adapt to changing technical priorities and manage multiple technical projects simultaneously.
